As a parent, one of the key challenges for raising my kid is to ensure he will be able to find his own path in life, to be motivated to achieve what he wanted to pursue, and to be able to take care of himself, his family, and the other people in the community.  Based on my personal experience, one of the important attribute for life long learning and improvement for ourselves and our society is to have a curious mind.
